Very good porter, with a nice, smooth mouthfeel and a rich flavor that would be expected. Didn't really taste any chocolate; I got quite a bit of earthiness from it, with a definite hop to the finish. Dryer than most porters. Holds up well, but no more than one at a time. More of a sipper.

This porter has the chocolate malt and roasted coffee flavors that you would expect. A little bit of citrus and additional bitterness from the Northwest hops. Nice creamy mouthfeel. Not quite as good at Deschutes Black Butte Porter, but a good 2nd option.

This is my favorite of the McTarnahans brews. It has a few body and is truely creamy like the name. It has a thick and lasting light brown head. The overall taste is similar to a black butte porter but more creamy and smooth.
