As a regular pale ale, I would probably give this a 2.5-3 star rating, however, this is probably the best gluten free beer I have had and it gets bonus points for allowing people with Celiacs disease drink something that actually tastes like beer. So many of the other gluten free beers have strange, even horrible flavors that likely come from the sorghum or whatever else replaced the barley. This starts off a little sweet and finishes with some nondescript hops. Between the sweetness and the hops is a flavor dead space that tastes like soda water. Its a little on the dry side for me as well. Still gotta give Widmer kudos..
