I find the flavor of this beer offensive. It is puckering dry, slightly tart, some very light cocoa flavor, very watery, crappy. Just don't like it.

This turned out to be a great hang-over beer. Tastes just like an iced latte...and I mean the good kind! I almost forgot I was drinking an alcoholic beverage.

Ive always enjoyed this beer.Delicious, rich, creamy head that gives way to an overly thin bodied stout.Great flavors of coffee with just a tad bit of bitterness at the end.Much better on tap for me as it seems to be a bit less thin than the can or bottle.
Edit:had this again recently and hated it. I guess my palate is ruined from imperial stouts and such.It was so thin I would call it the Bud lite of stouts.

I'll grab one of these every once in awhile when we go out and I can get it on tap. Very good stout, but not something I could drink regularly.

This makes me like think beers. I have been hearing so many stories of people not liking this that I think I have been avoiding it! Once I got the courage to try it I was amazed! Great rich taste, although I hate that stupid plastic in the bottle! I mean come on I got so tired of hearing that I just poured it into a glass!

This beer is tastes thin, processed, and has a little widget-thing in the bottle makes an annoying *clunk* each time you take a swig. I don't find enjoyment drinking it alone or with food. It's not the experience I want from a stout.

Good Beer. Finished offa round of 6 good beers with this. It was wonderful. A good thick dark grainy taste. Expensive but very enjoyable.

There's the Guinness mystique, the surge, the creamy head, and the bitter burnt coffee taste.Yet, despite the hype and the recent trendy appeal this is still an enjoyable taste experience. The correctly inverted pour produces a glass of Guinness just like from a pub. This is what all other stout styles get compared to and for good reason. It is a low calorie classic !
P.S. Update: I heard the widget was discontinued. Too bad, I guess I was the only one who thought it was kewl!
Revisited 3/10/13: I tried the non-widget bottle version and it is o.k., but it lost it's uniqueness. To be fair, I have to lower the overall rating of this beer even though it is probably the best in this style (dry stout.)

500ml can - The body seemed rather thin for a guinness: not as opaque as my souvenir and a very small head. The beer smelled good though. Just as a first sip which immediately brought the comforting creamy texture. I found that there was a disappointing chemical feel to this beer. Was it caused by the nitro and carbon dioxide? I dont know. Still, the beer poured a light coffee aftertaste that lasted reasonably well.

If I were a beer
I would be a Guinness Draught.
Then I'd drink myself.
