I think it is.. Anyway, the first thing that stands out about this beer is how thin it is for a big bad barleywine. The second thing I noticed is how much this tastes like a DIPA. Yet another example of an Oregon brewer getting a little to crazy with the hops. The sweet malts definitely come through, but they should sing, damnit! Alcohol is amazingly well hidden. Overall a good beer and I damn near went 4 stars on this one.
