I broke manlaw on this one. My buddy, his wife and I tried it, bitched about it. Then dumped it.

But at least we tried it.

Enough Said.

This is a very dark beer, a bit thick, and very strong. Brewed in 1995 with maple syrup, vanilla, and a hefty toffee flavor. Not for the weak at all. It was good, but I'm glad I only bought two bottles. Not something I would enjoy daily. Just another way to show Jim Kochs wide array of beer genius.

Tastes like shit. It's like a combination of chocolate and maple syrpe mixed into one. The result is something that tastes like dung, I think. Not something that belongs in the Sam Adam's collection at all. Don't think you're missing out on anything at all by not drinking this beer.
