Beer Bottle
Brewer's Description:
"Old Foghorn Barleywine Style Ale is brewed strictly according to traditional brewing methods, using only natural ingredients — water, malted barley, fresh whole hops and yeast. Old Foghorn is based on traditional English barley wines. Old Foghorn is highly hopped, using only Cascade hops. It is fermented with a true top-fermenting ale yeast. Carbonation is produced by an entirely natural process called "bunging," which produces champagne-like bubbles. Our barley wine ale is dry-hopped with additional Cascade hops while it ages in our cellars. Old Foghorn ages for over six months."

A good, malty barleywine. Knocks me silly.

The one I tried was 8.8% ABV.I thought I'd reviewed this one,but I hadn't.It's decent ,although it won't dethrone some other brands I prefer. It has a bit too much molasses taste for me.

Picked this up at New Seasons Market. Apparently when I am drunk, everything tastes like a Dopplebock.. This beer has a strong caramel malt and burnt sugar flavor with a sweet alcohol finish. It is quite tasty and will knock your dick in the dirt.. Pretty good stuff..
