Brewer's Description: Our coffee stout is a full bodied, rich stout that supports the espresso character of the coffee. We use 1.5 lbs of Sumatran coffee per barrel. Rich and toasty, the flavor leads with coffee and follows with underlying notes of chocolate, caramel, and dark fruit. Cheers! I did not get any dark fruit, but I do not think that is a bad thing for this beer. Rich, heavy caramel and coffee flavors with a touch of dark chocolate in the aftertaste. Has a creamy mouthfeel and low carbonation, which makes it an easy drinker. A very nice brew for fans of this style.
