In comparison to MGD, this is great! It is drinkable and typical for the style without any offensive tastes plus it's cheap. I am rating the tap version and will update when I get around to the bottle version, if I have to.

Weak malt aroma with a little citrus, and a somewhat watery flavor. High carbonation level turned me off, but overall I think it is slightly better than MGD (if that's saying anything).

What can you say? What needs to be said? Well, it's inoffensive, refreshing, and cheap. The taste is nothing special or memorable, but it is very drinkable with seemingly no unpleasant odor or aftertaste. Did I mention it's cheap? A 6 pack of bottles at my regular stop is an astonishing $3.80. Yes, the price is one of it's biggest selling points. Simply put, one of the better cheap pale beers. Easily better than things in a similar price range like Milwaukee's Best and Natural. Some prefer this to Bud, Coors and anything else by Miller. Miller High Life is not something you go seeking out for it's fine taste (anything that has "The Champagne of Beers" literally written on the bottle won't live up to it.) but if you want decent beer, at least in the price range that would afford you a dozen bottles for $8, then try it. I would imagine this would go well with food as it has no strong or special taste alone. It's also the beer to have for friends who won't buy their own.

This beer is so much better in a bottle. Very refreshing! Not a great taste, but I love to get it when having friends over, this way i don't mind buying for everyone! (30 for $12)

Tastes creamy to me. If you let it get warm, I have trouble drinking the last few swigs. Can't drink a lot of these in a row...

I think that this is one of the better pale lagers and about the only thing made by Miller worth drinking. This beer has a little extra carbonation and is sweeter than most of its relatives. Very smooth and a nice choice for binge drinking.

In bottles, this is a great summer drink. You look good, the beer looks good. You compliment each other in a way that many beers shy away from. A half-rack of these boys will send you on the pot the next day, but I think it is worth it, especially during summer BB-Q's. This is a basic and standard for American beer drinkers, and if someone gives you trouble for showing up with 12 bottles of champagne, then tell them to go back to Florida, because this is how we plaw ball in the N.W.
