Rich, smooth, and flavorful, with a nice hoppy flavor without much bitterness. The juniper berries give it a lightness that offsets the rich flavor. No real aftertaste. I enjoyed it, and I would get another bottle at the store, but I wouldn't drive to Newport to get it on tap.

Picked up a 22oz bottle of this at John's Marketplace. Personally, I found this beer a little disappointing. There was a very slight spicyness that must have been from the juniper berries. Wish there was more of that.. Pretty strong hops bitterness. Decent, but not great.

Bottle - 650ml. An aphrodisiac orange with a shadowy body slides into the glass. As soon as the glass approached my nose, a horde of hops invested my lungs telling me right away that this is a serious beer. The first mouthful went in like a tsunami (bad joke, I admit). Citrus, flowers and fruits were invading every parts of my mouth, flooding me with a refreshing and warming bitter aftertaste.
