This is another one I first tried some time ago and it quickly replaced Dos Equis as my favorite Mexican beer. 6% ABV and a little more flavor than the mass market beers such as Coors or Miller give this beer some appeal.
Type: Can Bottle
One of the best "plain" beers you can get. The flavor is right. Not too hoppy, not to bland. Great with a lime for a little more or perfectly fine on its own. I keep this in my house as my "usual". A plus, of course, is the 6% ABV. To add, no "hang over" headache off just 2 or 3 like many cheap beers.
I didn't find this to be more than average tasting, but I give it an Xtra 1/2 point for 6% ABV.If I want a buzz on Pilsner, this would work.
I love the Negra, but this is a great tasting beer as well! Crisp and flavorful. I'd gladly drink this if the negra wasn't available!
I love this beer! It has a great color, smell, and taste. Very light and flavorful. Although after drinking a few I got a metallic taste. Very refreshing on a hot day!
This beer was really popular last time I was in Mexico. What I like about this beer is that there is a good, smooth flavor that works with huevos rancheros in the morning or tacos at night. And it didn't hurt that it was delivered to our door. In Oregon, it is served best during the summertime on the beach eating BBQ.

Its no Negra, but it is pretty decent for what it is. Golden colored, a little bit of sweetness and very mild hop bitterness. Pretty good with spicy food.
