This is by far my favorite beer of all time. It is very much an aquired taste and should not be wasted =). For those of you that are not a fan i suggest before you pour that beer out, try using it with your favorite marinade ....BBQ......Roast.... you name it, this beer is awesome to cook with. Besides its pretty expensive to just pour away =P

YEEEEUUUGGH!! It tastes like a thin dark beer mixed with black olive juice and green Chloroseptic throat spray! Calling it an "acquired taste" is a major understatement. Maybe I should have tried this beer at room temp and not ice cold.

Smoked beer could be an aquired taste- like a Moxie soda.This has the same woodfire smell with a higher ABV than their Marzen or Weizen which
helps to balance the BBQ.I'll be having this again.Pass the ketchup,please.
