Beer Bottle
Brewer's Description:
"A special top-fermenting ale yeast is used during fermentation and is responsible for many of Liberty Ale's subtle flavors and characteristics. Carbonation is produced by an entirely natural process called "bunging," which produces champagne-like bubbles. Dry-hopping (adding fresh hops to the brew during aging), imparts a unique aroma to the ale. It is a process rarely used in this country today."

This was a pleasant surprise. I don't know what I was expecting but what I got was nice. Very easy to drink and the hops will keep me coming back for more.

A nice full-bodied beer. It has a smooth hoppy bite with a hint of coffee and oak notes followed by a nice malty thickness. All of Anchor Brewing's stuff has been impressive.

This was the first Left-coast beer that I really liked, even more than Anchor Steam's regular brew. It's a smooth ale with a nice body and a soft, bitter hops taste that doesn't linger. I had it on tap many years ago and it was even better than from the bottle.

Tried this at the Alefest. Light and refreshing. This beer went down very easy.

Well this beer is actually considered to be an American Pale Ale and as such it has proper bitterness, color and other characteristics.

Had this on tap at Clay's Smokehouse. Currently listed as an IPA, but it really doesn't look or taste like one. It is much lighter and not very bitter. An easy to drink beer that I could probably have 8 of before having to switch to something else.
