The number of Oregon beers in our database is now at 1,003 - more than any other state or country. Yeah, yeah, yeah - we're from Oregon and that definitely has something to do with it, however, very few states or countries will surpass this milestone. England, California and a few others are likely candidates. _________________ I drink to forget my blackouts. |

I could get Mass up there eventually...if I could remember how to review a beer...or the beer(s) I actually had the night before.. _________________ .

That is my problem. I need a laptop or something so I can review them as I am drinking them so I don't forget. _________________ Let the obsession begin. |

Even with a laptop right now, I still won't think about reviewing what I just had. I'm not a very good writer, so my reviews would be rather plain saying only that I like or dislike a certain brew..even though I can taste the different flavors of a beer, I can't always accurately dictate or describe what I'm tasting as far as the little things.. _________________ .

As a helpful tip for writing a review,I'll look at the brewer's description and compare what they say to what I'm tasting.Sometimes,I'll check what other reviewers have written and I'll even look at the beer styles guide found here for ideas. After putting this all together into my own words,I'll sometimes still end up writing a review like: "Pretty decent for the style." That's what I like about Beertutor-I don't have to write a review that sounds snobbish if I don't want to.I hope this helps.
