NC Law Allows Coupons for Beer

Retailers could use coupons or membership cards to sell beer and wine at a discount in legislation that a House panel approved Tuesday.

State Alcoholic Beverage Control Commission rules now prohibit cents-off coupons or free beverages as part of alchool advertising. But this bill would allow grocery and warehouse stores and other places that sell beer and wine to provide sales incentives.

Yah, I never saw a beer coupon...I bet AB exploits this, like they exploit so many beer drinkers with their horrible products.....it's a shame so many people are afraid of flavor, and prefer the taste of pee in a can.....

Using coupons is one of the marketing strategies of businesses. If there is the law that prohibits all stores in selling beer or wines, then they should follow it. But I guess authorities can not do it easily.

Anything that brings down prices is o.k. in my book! The types of beer I prefer,probably won't be included in any discounts, however.That's alright.
