Can someone please offer suggestions on how to troubleshoot my kegging system. I have a Cornelius keg attached to a paint ball CO2 canister using Williams equipment. I fill keg and try to use the CO2 to finish carbonation, but quickly end up with empty bottle and no pressure.

Sounds like you have a leak somewhere in the system. How much does that CO2 can hold? What are you charging the keg to, in PSI, and for how long? Force carbing with CO2 can be done overnight if you really work it, but usually should take 2-3 days. I set the regulator to push 40PSI for 2 hours, than 30PSI for the remaining 22 hours. Also, shaking the keg will help get more gas into solution, as will letting it do it's work in the kegerator or fridge. CO2 incorporates better in cold temps.

To check for leaks, get a spray bottle with a non-toxic soapy solution. Charge the system and spray it all down. The air leaking pressure will cause bubbles to form at the spot. It is possible that the leak is too small for this to work, or it could hose integrity/ The gas could literally leak through the hose.

Can you post a picture of what the setup looks like?

Cheers to that man. I actually just got my tank refilled today to start working on my first brew of the season..yikes! been way too long since I brewed. Hopefully, I can get my keg setup running again, and then brew up my IPA to start, and then something else soon after...
