Does anybody have experience with Beer Bread? Just add beer to the quick & easy recipe inside! lol. "Regular or lite beer may be used- each beer lends its own unique flavor to the finished product." says the label, but I'm sure there are homemade versions of beer bread. Have any beertutorites made beer bread? Just wondering.

Have you tried it yet? Just asking since you sent it to me. Unless tomorrow is another total clusterfuck, I am going to try to make some and see what happens...

I haven't made any yet, but I heard it was pretty good. I wonder what kind of beer to use? I'm sure a stout would give a much different flavor than a lite beer.

I've made beer bread before. I used my Sisters bread machine, but added a bottle of Sam Adams Oktoberfest to the mix.. Definitely made it darker and a bit sweeter, pretty good. Better fresh from the oven with a little butter or other spread..

I'm making it right now.. I used Alameda Torrero IPA. It was the only good beer I had in the house. Will let you know how it turns out in about an hour.

Wow.. This is surprisingly good, and more importantly, very easy! I'll be checking out their site to see if they'll ship it. Thx beerlover!

Beerlover sent me a beer bottle full of bread mix. Just add beer and bake. And yes, I thought it was a bottle of beer and tried to take a sip before realizing what it is. Embarrassed

Apparently it is made for Bishop's Store in Jackman, ME. I'm going to contact them to see if they'll ship me more.

That is pretty cool. I think I've seen something like that before, but if I did it certainly wasn't in Maine. Haven't been there in years, well, inland Maine at least.
