For collectors this will probably be worth more than the list price very soon...

Wicked!!!! I remember that place from when I was stationed in southern GA...been to NOLA twice, and I'm glad I got there before it's gone...not that this place is gone, I don't know how much of the French quarter got the shaft, but still, a great pub. I wish I was more into enjoying beer then, as opposed to drinking solely to get drunk(quick enough before I got kicked out...). I've got a bunch of old coasters from GA, some old caps too...wonder if I could make a buck or two...... Drink Beer Bottle

Actually, I've never heard of it, but that probably says as much about me as it does about Foster.

I saw that there was one bar "open" in the French Quarter...I am not sure if it was this place or not though. The bartender seemed offended when the newscaster asked if he was serving alcohol. He said he was giving out ice until it all melted, and then just basically hanging out there.

I heard on CNN the mayor said the majority of the French Quarter was saved, so the Crescent is likely ok, but still. I don't have any immediate plans to return there, plus it's a good reminder of old times. Drink Beer Bottle

I think I am too old to really appreciate what the French Quarter had (and will someday again have) to offer. I like a good jukebox, but not having to yell to be heard, fast service and a bartender who knows my name.
