I found an interesting article about beer vs soda and your health. Scientist for Lipton Tea published a recommendation that people drink less soda and more beer.

I have no problem with any kind of study that says I can have more beer in my diet. Sounds like a plan to me!

I actually already do that. I can't stand soda I stopped with cola's a long time ago and now I can barely stand Sprite or 7up.

I can drink 10 cans of beer in 3 hours, but it takes me that long to drink a can of Coke.

What is UP with THAT?

Pop is pretty much sugar and acid. I am sure you have all heard the Coke rumor about it taking rust off things.

Have you ever seen the Mythbusters episode when they tested that theory? It actually works pretty well, although, I still wouldn't pour cola on my truck...maybe BUs, but not mine....kidding yoo-hoo, if you're still mad, save it for fight club this weekend. Your brother is going down again, and not in the BP either! ROFL

On an average beer contains the following:
0mg of cholesterol
0g of fat
13g of carbohydrate
25mg of sodium protein, calcium, potassium, phosphorus and vitamins B, B2, and B6

So it is indeed heathy to drink beer especially if in moderation
