I know I havent told you all this. But my wife and I are expecting a baby the first of May. Her first my second. So I dont know how much longer ill be able to hang with the Tutor Crew. Baby is more important than my beer hobby. And I dont know if ill be able to afford it or not. Maybe a few beers here and there but I wont be able to drink nearly as much as I am now. _________________ I am not an alcoholic. I am a consumer of recreational beverages. In my experience kids tend to make your alcohol intake increase. _________________ Happiness is like peeing yourself, everyone can see it but only you can feel its warmth! |

Not if the money isnt there to buy it Dont get me wrong though if I can I will drink the GOOD stuff. Only because I can get a few mix and match bottles here and there. I dont have to buy six I can get one or two or what ever the budget will allow _________________ I am not an alcoholic. I am a consumer of recreational beverages. I do not drink to get drunk. Thats part of the reason we aren't having kids - it would cut into our beer time and budget. _________________ I drink to forget my blackouts. |

That's what I did. I enjoy an outstanding beer much more than slamming back a case, just to say I could...although, I still enjoy the shotgun or beer bong...... _________________ .

Of course there is always learning to brew your own. Once you get the initial investment over with the price of very good beer is very cheap, roughly $23-$27 per 5 gallons.
5 GALLONS= 53 12 OZ. BOTTLES
5 GALLONS= 40 16 OZ. BOTTLES
5 GALLONS= 29 22 OZ. BOTTLES _________________ Let the obsession begin. |

I bought all the ingredients I need to make a Belgian tripel for about $45 tonight.
Normally one 750cl (25oz) bottle runs about $8.
Each of my 29 22oz bottles cost me $1.55.
If my beer is even half as good as the professionals, I'm coming out way ahead. I can also make it exactly the way I like it, which you can't put a price on.
Have a look at the homebrewing articles here at Beertutor. The author is extremely informative, witty and handsome from what I hear. _________________ Happiness is like peeing yourself, everyone can see it but only you can feel its warmth! |
