|

I got to start this new year off with our server getting hacked. Most of the damage was done to our other sites, however, there appears to be a problem with this one as well.
You should be able to login to the forums just fine, but if you go to the beer database, you will show as "Not logged in". Also, none of the beer reviews are visible. We have somebody looking into it and it should get fixed soon. If you notice any other problems please post them here and I will get right on them.
Thanks! _________________ I drink to forget my blackouts. |

Yeah, I noticed that on your MCSE site. Can't login. That sucks...not the best way to start the new year. _________________ kidvelvet

You can't login at mcmcse? I can and it looks like others can too..
Yeah, it was a shitty start to the year. On the same day as the hacking, a laptop and 23" HD monitor died too.. I'm about ready for next year already.. _________________ I drink to forget my blackouts. |

I think I'm good at both sites. I logged in yesterday, but it was slow to refresh any page. Hackers suck man...seriously, I can't see the pleasure they take in bringing down a site, or company like yours J...maybe if you were some super big corp or something, but the sites you run are there only to help others....WTF!! then again, they wouldn't understand the pleasure I would take in watching every ass-hacker be boiled alive in a vat of pig shit..... _________________ .

Yeah it sucks and nobody will do anything to stop it.. If I ever get rich, I am going to start a new company called "Spam Assassin" (like the software). I will travel the world with a samarai sword and do away with the spammers and hackers.. Well, its a nice dream anyway.. _________________ I drink to forget my blackouts. |

Incedentally, some progress has been made on the repairs. You can now view reviews, but still can't add any. I think it will be fixed by Tuesday at the latest.. hang in there... _________________ I drink to forget my blackouts. |

If I had the money, I would do the same....but there's other people that would need to be eliminated first, then spammers.....good idea though... _________________ .

I promise to review more....I could add well over a hundred beers....problem is, I usually drink too much to remember to do it, or even what they were like..... _________________ .

I bought a 5pk of Holiday ales called, Christmas in Belgium.I just tried a Pere Noel Hoppy Christmas Ale from Brewery De Ranke,Wevelgem. It looks like all the beers are from small Belgian micro-breweries,so you might have some more work adding beers soon. |

The programmer we have looking at it is having a hard time figuring it out.. It is weird because we have a similar setup with this software at one of our other sites and it still works fine after the hacking.. Sorry about the delay.. I will be all over the programmer next week to make sure he gets this fixed ASAP.. _________________ I drink to forget my blackouts. |
