I wish I cared about hockey, but there is no local team and I already have football and basketball to follow. If they made hockey a summer sport, I would definitely watch because I hate baseball.

Actually, the Blazers are one of the teams that really have the ability to give the Lakers trouble in the coming seasons. They've put together a lot of talent. And I can't explain why we do so badly up in the Rose Garden. After "the curse" the Lakers put on the Blazers back in the 2001 Western Conference Finals, it now seems to have reversed itself. The Blazers worry me more than do the Nugs, Celts, or Cavs.

I think that is a fair statement. I think that even last year, the Blazers would have been the team to give the Lakers the biggest test. In the same way, I was more worried about having to play Houston or Dallas than the Lakers. Its just the way the teams match up. Should be another good, tough season in the Western conference!

Hell yeah!! Hopefully, Brady makes it past the 2nd play of the season...can't say I agree with trading Seymour, but most of the Pats moves have worked out for them in the long run.....and I really want to see Favre get KTFO in GB...that would be sweet, maybe he would finally go home.....

Oh, and as for B-Ball...lest not forget the Celtics did rather well last year, and that was without KG. He's back and fired up like a volcano. I'm not afraid of the Cavs either, Shaq or not. He's going to crash like a piece of cheap glass. His only job is to elbow his way to box out the opponent, and take fouls for James. If LBJ doesn't win this year, he's out of Cleveland Steamer-ville, on his way to more money.......screw the Lakers. Sorry DM, East coaster all the way here, but there's always beer...cheers!

Hey Rick, you should become a Broncos fan now that half of them are ex-Patriots. Laugh

Those queers in the ugliest uniforms in history got lucky...Brady is still damn rusty, and Moss needs to be WR #1, not Welker.... regardless, the Broncs will lose eventually, and in the playoff if they make it..no way Kyle Orton leads that team to a SB victory...

Yeah, those were some butt-ugly uniforms, but that win was not luck. Its true that the Broncos will lose eventually (maybe this week), but they should go deep into the playoffs. I was not excited about McDaniels at first, but I am sold now.

Do you still feel that way about the Broncos now?

I think that SD is still going to win the division.
