While at a bar last night, member Blitzfan poured the rest of his Rumple Minze shot into his Deschutes Black Porter. The idea intrigued me, so I ordered a shot and a pint and the Winter Blumpkin was born. I take absolutely no credit or responsibility for the name. That is on Blitzfan.
After telling Beerwench about our discovery, she tweaked the recipe and Ear Muffs was born. After extensive research and to the best of my knowledge, these recipes are BeerTutor originals. Cheers! _________________ I drink to forget my blackouts. |

Rumple Minze is a liquor company (German I think) that makes a delicious peppermint schnapps that comes in at 100 proof. We usually drink it around the holidays and it is very good in hot chocolate and coffee. Really good with some Baileys. _________________ I drink to forget my blackouts. |
