Hello to everyone on this board!!!
I am a beer nut from good old NJ. Right now it seems like my favorite types are Belgian varieties.
I have started a 365 project in which I will attempt to drink a unique beer a day for 365 days. My progrees can be tracked here at http://kingbobyjr.wordpress.com
Has anyone here attempted this? Any tips or suggestions?
Thanks much and I hope I can be helpful and gain lots of knowledge from this site!!! |

Welcome King Bob!
I've never heard of anyone attempting to drink a different beer a day for a year.It may get difficult unless you plan on doing some travelling for a beer run.Even then, some beers are seasonal and others are limited batches, but good luck.I like your spirit of adventure! Beerhunting is a great sport, pastime,or hobby. If you succeed, you are indeed a beerhunting king and will be legend here.Beertutor is the best place to review beers because there are no rules. It is very laid back and not snobbish like some other beer review sites plus you can learn about brewing, beer styles, and more.It is a great online community here as you will discover.I like your website, too.Cheers!

Welcome Kingbobyjr..
I think I have averaged a beer review per day since I started this site, but didn't do a single beer everyday. That takes some discipline. If I bought 7 beers to try for the week, they would be gone the first day, so I would have to go to the beer store everyday.. _________________ I drink to forget my blackouts. |

Welcome aboard!
I'd love to try that 365 thing, but I have to fess up say I don't drink every day. ::shame::
I do have a beer store about an hour from me that has a Wild 6 deal. Grab a six-pack holder, and any 6 beers and they give you 15% off the total price. Only condition is that all bottles must be same size, and the 22oz are the biggest they allow. But to have a discounted mix-and-match deal is awesome. It's how I've tried so many different beers.
I should probably work on reveiwing them, but I'm such a bad reviewer.. Most of my reviews would just say I liked it, or I hated it. Not much of a critic, I just drink it. _________________ .

C'mon Ricka,do some reviews! I'm sure you could get creative like saying it tastes like goat piss or something that crawled out of the Boston subway. _________________ Beer Is Bread |

That's kickass man! I'm going to go through the whole thing later. I like the pictures, and the reviews are well written. _________________ .

I've been keeping up on King Bob's site, too, even though I have to restart my computer everytime before I go there or my computer freezes up tighter than a can of Bud in a snowbank.
