Ah yes, another St. Patty's day approaches. I've already started wearing green and listening to Irish, Celtic and Scottish music. I have a bottle of Ommegang Cup o Kyndness Scotch Ale tucked away. I am going to see The Pogues in Boston the weekend before St. Patty's and I'm revved up and ready to stumble. I have no definate plans for the holiday itself other than I'll probably head to Portland which has the only decent Irish pubs in Maine.

Sounds like a good plan.. I don't have any yet and will probably just stay home to avoid the crowds.. _________________ I drink to forget my blackouts. |

I can't wait for St. Pattys day this year.. Going to see Rise Against open for The Dropkick Murphys at the House of Blues In Boston the night before, then taking Thursday off to try for either tix to the Murphys again that night, or to a Bagpipe Rock show a couple hours West near CT..
Then Saturday night, I got invited to a huge bash that this guy at my work throws every year. From what I've heard, debauchery reigns supreme at this party. Some room available in the house, and a few motels in the area. I guess some people actually just crash on the floor...
Good times indeed... _________________ .

The Dropkick Murphys put on a great show. I saw them last year when they came up this way.

The Pogues were great and I stopped at the N.H. Liquor store on the return trip to stock up on some good deals. Tax Free is great! Why can't more states follow New Hampster's example?

I'm not 100% anti-taxation, but I do think it's close 90% overblown. If we cut back on the bullshit that has infested this entire nation, down to it's very core, it wouldn't cost so much to survive. A global conspiracy is the best probably answer. We're all pawns on the chessboards of the unknown Trillionaires... _________________ .

Best St.Pattys Day ever! The only thing that could've made it better would've been to get the phone # of that sweet red-haired colleen that was smiling at me during the festivities. I have a weakness for Irish girls!
