Did a refinery go down or grains mines go dry? It seems beer prices jumped .50 to a dollar recently.
Guess I picked the right time to order up my keezer gear and get to brewing more of my own. _________________ Let the obsession begin. |

I hadn't noticed. I'll have to pay more attention next time I buy beer. _________________ I drink to forget my blackouts. |

Yes, I've noticed a price increase in beer lately. Is it inflation in general or something specific to beer/alcohol/sin taxes ?

I think just stupid .gov caused inflation since cheap bread is nearly $2 a loaf now and cereal is gaining on $5 a box. _________________ Let the obsession begin. |

Agreed, however, I did find some Game Day beer for $2.99 a half rack. Ironically, that price is a ripoff.. _________________ I drink to forget my blackouts. |

I stopped paying attention to beer prices a while ago. It got depressing to see it go up a little every few weeks. I vaguely remember the days of a good 6er only running me about $7, and the cheap stuff was $5... _________________ .

I missed this part... Yes, go brew your own beer! It's a slight shock to see the upfront investment, but not a day goes by that I don't enjoy walking in to my house, and having up to 10 gallons of freshly brewed "mybeer" cold and ready for me. Just a glass, a pull, and bam..
It's so good once it hits your lips! _________________ .

| A month ago beer drinkers cell phone spy faced a rise of up to 10p on a pint due to the sharp increase in the cost of raw materials, fuel and distribution. It is obvious, since raw materials are between three per cent and 10per cent of the price of beer. |
