My buddy used to collect them, but I think he was trying to line his walls with as many different bottles he could drink. (That was his rule, he had to drink the beer inside it.....a pretty good rule, I think).
I know a guy that sells "collectable" cans from Japan on e-bay. He makes enough to make it worth it.... |

When I went Montreal a few years back, I saved a couple of cans. I know, I know, cans suck(except for the shotgun), but I never saw these before. They were 750ml, and 900ml. Looks like a Fosters, but bigger, and this was Budweiser, unfortunatly. The damn border patrol made us pour out all the booze before crossing back in to the US. He said we're too young, hmmmm...... _________________ .

I take the bottles back for the deposit to use to get more beer. _________________ beerme

I could just do you a favor by telling you that it isn't very good and give you the bottle.. Or, you can torture yourself by trying to choke that beer down.. _________________ I drink to forget my blackouts. |

I have a decent collection of cans and bottles, mostly of ones I've tasted. Some, I got just because the containers were interesting to me.Unfortunately,I cant remember what some of them tasted like.I've been into trying different beers for many years- since before the internet back in the groovy 70s.I'm glad to know I'm not alone in this quest to taste every kind of beer there is.I'll post some of my fave cans & bottles soon.

I tend to recycle my bottles for homebrewing. I've got a few Westvletern and Rochefort bottles with my Christmas Ale in them right now. _________________ Happiness is like peeing yourself, everyone can see it but only you can feel its warmth! |
