According to some studies, dark beer and bloody marys are the most healthy drinks.

I'm not a fan of most dark beers including Guinness, but that article pretty much sold me on it. Laugh But I do love a very spicy bloody Mary once in a while.

Speaking of dark beers, check this one out!!!

If you can get it on tap, it is amazing - never tried it in a bottle... Smile

I don't know if there are bottles. I have had it from a can, with that little nitrus capsule inside. Tap was better, but it is very good.

I tend to like porters over stouts for dark beers...they tend to be a bit more creamy and less aftertaste...then again, that is usually what people like about the stouts.

Guiness is good, but man, it is hard to beat a good Black Butte Porter when I have a hankerin' for a dark beer.

So far, Black Butte Porter and the aforementioned Chocolate Stout are the only 2 dark beers I like. Black Butte pushes the edges of my boundaries, but I do like it. Big Grin

There is also a dark microbrew called Festbeer that is either a McMinimmmananimimmmanananas beer or Widmer. It only comes out during Christmas time...that is really good...even smoother with less aftertaste than BBP. Mmmm...wish I wasn't at work. Cry
