Former Wal-Mart Stores Inc. Vice Chairman Tom Coughlin pleaded guilty to wire fraud and tax evasion Tuesday, admitting that he stole thousands of dollars from the world's biggest retailer to upgrade his truck, pay for hunting rights and buy beer.
