I have a question for those who have some experience brewing beer.
I have a wheat allergy (or intolerance) and I was wondering what beers might use some wheat in the recipe - not including wheat beers, of course.
The information I have found is a little inconsistent, and while it addresses gluten often, which would include barley- It doesnt really specify which beers may use wheat as an ingredient.

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks,

Wheat malt is considered a different ingredient than barley malt so if the brewer lists the types of malt used and doesn't include wheat malt, you're probably safe.

I would think a majority of the beer out there would be just fine. I don't see why any would be using wheat in anything other than a Hef. Confused

Yes, I have noted that Busch Light is wheat free. (and good free) After all my years of mocking, it would be just ironic enough that I have to cruise around with a 6 pack of Busch Light like Randy Quad from Vegas Vacation.
