Grain 0.25 lbs.Biscuit Malt (Belgium) All grain
Grain 0.5 lbs.Crystal 60L (USA) All grain
Grain 0.5 lbs.Crystal 40L (USA) All grain
Grain 6 lbs.Malt syrup, Light (USA) Extract
Hops 1 oz.Chinook (Pellets% AA) Boil time 20 min.
Miscellaneous Ingredient 0.5 ozIrish Moss Extract
Miscellaneous Ingredient 5 tspGypsum Extract
Yeast 1 oz.White Labs English Ale (WLP002) Yeast (Ideal ferm. temp: 65-68°F)

This is a short boil partial-mash recipe.
Mash grains in 2 gallons of water at 152 degrees for 50 minutes. Sparge with 1.5 gallons of 170 degree water with 5 tsp gypsum added. Add water to 5.5 gallon level and bring to a boil. After hot break add Challenger and Chinook hops and boil for 20 minutes. Add 1 oz. of Kent Goldings at end of boil, or use it to dry hop in secondary.
